Just made this a little while ago. Decided to do it instead of some essays i REALLY have to do

Youtube Intro/Outro
not bad. Little choppy here and there but its getting smoother!!
Yeah this thing we’re doing in animation is really just using an online animator Thought this was kinda nice for an intro/outro :3
I’m trying to decide if i want to change much of it or not.
Certainly choppy, but I kinda liked it. That countdown won’t be in the final version will it? Also not sure if an outro is even needed. I did like the intro more.
Intro was a bit long. I’d say lose the countdown. People don’t like spending much more than 10-15 seconds before the content they wanted actually appears.
And the outro was OK, but I personally feel it would be better if you had areas to show the previous video, another video and a subscription thing. Then you can add annotations later. It’s what all the ‘bigger’ youtubers do.
Personally, I hate when people have intros and outros. IF its a 20 minuite video, The intro takes 10-30 seconds Plus the intro they have after their intro…so in other words its about 1min long intro. Then the outro is normally a minuite. it doesnt seem like much but after awhile, it gets annoying and i eventually stop watching their videos, or unsub. But thats me

I’m not entirely sure what i’m doing with the intro outro. It was really just me being bored and messing with a program I want to make a 3D one that’s actually good, but most likely i will have to wait till after the summer or when i get my own computer. I really don’t know if i will use this exactly, but i think i will have some intro, and maybe an outro in the future. All depending if i can ever have free time…
To be honest, a video should almost never need an intro. It steers people away from your videos because they want content, and wasting 10 seconds of their life on something they don’t give a shit about doesn’t help your videos get more views.
An outro is fine since by then most people will have gotten the content of your video and will have left by then.
If you must have an intro, never make it more than 5 seconds long. I stop watching videos if the intro lasts longer than 5 seconds.
I think the best type of video intro’s are the simple short ones, with some gameplay before it.
To explain a bit more:
10-20 seconds of a funny moment during the start of the gameplay
5-10 second intro
Then the rest of the gameplay.
Good point. I have seen people who have little bits of what they are going to do before the intro. It does tend to keep me watching even when the intro comes on for a little too long
