Mac Texturepacks

hi, i was wondering how i add texture packs to my minecraft on Mac. for example i really want Misa HD TP.
so pls tell me how to install ^^ thank you in advance

  1. Download the texture pack.
  2. Open up minecraft and click on mods and texture packs.
  3. Click on open folder.
  4. Copy the texture pack into that folder.
  5. Follow any forum instructions about HDpatcher (Do that stuff before any of this if it tells you to)
  6. Done.

This is the same as on a PC. Mojang made it really simple to install texture packs because they knew how popular they would be.

For the misa texture pack, you need mcpatcher to fix it so it will display all the right stuff. When you get that and you patch your minecraft, you drag the misa texture pack zip file into your texture pack folder that is in your minecraft folder. Just incase you don’t know how to get to the minecraft folder, you go to library, application support, then the minecraft folder will be in there. Then you open up minecraft and go to texture packs and open it.

Well u could use optifine
Basically to install a texture just grab the downloaded texture (it needs to be in a .zip format), then navigate to your minecraft folder (User>Library>Application Support>minecraft) and then just find the texture packs folder and put the .zip in there. If you want to get an HD texture u must install Opti-fine or MC Patcher.
