looks like a decent monitor, a lot of the cons posted were related to the screen going bad after a few months

I am looking for a monitor… but I really must insist on HDMI. I’ve yet to own an HD screen of any kind, and I have been wanting one.
The reviews too, are not the greatest due to the seemingly high failure rate of these. It would still be an upgrade.
I personally prefer dvi-d to hdmi, as there isn’t a hz cap, like there is with HDMI.
I will only buy a monitor if it has dvi / display port
