I am sorry but I think I wasn’t here when you could talk to people through server maps does anyone have the reason why we did this?

We took away the chat function, because the maps were being used by banned players to spam chat.
Aww that sucks… I have a suggestion! Maybe we could figure out a way to not allow the banned player’s IP to be able to access the live server maps?
That would be awesome kat I really would enjoy talking to people like the old days.
I mean, if chatting while not on the computer with Minecraft installed is the issue, just download Minechat. Even if you’re on a computer, there’s still a version for it.

This isn’t the “good old days”, change happens, good or bad. And i can’t find the quote but a person on pcb once said that any age can be the golden age, but only if we polish it a bit. Since you’ve been gone things have happened which has lead to consequences. Things can’t always be the way you remembered them.

Classic era felt like a golden age to me. 
I do miss the server map chat. Doesn’t it detect player ip though?
Its shows us who the player is but we can’t ban them from using the dynmap so it doesn’t really help.
IP banning also won’t work if they change the computer/mobile they are on.
Can’t people by pass ban with minechat anyways?
no cause minechat needs a name for loging thats linked to your account
Isn’t the IP their Network, and not their device?
It is based upon their network.
