I found your IP in the Creative server’s banned IP list. I’ve removed it and it should take effect on next reboot (which should be within the next few hours)

IP banning in classic was a rare occurrence. The whole reason we IP banned at all was because 1 griefer could come back with a different account name to harass us more.

This is incredibly unlikely in the full version of Minecraft as the person would have to pay for each account. Thus, IP banning should only be used in extreme cases.

Oh, and did that fix it Ka? May we lock this now?

Unfortunately not. I’ve seen cracked (as in hacked) minecraft accounts being sold for less than 10 cents each. Meaning IP banning is extremely useful if the griefer has a stock load of these.
