Ok, so I thought that it would be interesting to throw up a bunch of games that I’m excited for this year into a list, and briefly describe them. If anyone else has a list or comment of their own, feel free to make your own below…

  1. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate - Its assassin’s creed guys, who doesn’t love it? I used to be involved in the series, but I never finished 4, and never payed much attention to the franchise since. Assassins creed is only here because I loved the past installments.

  2. Black Ops III - I know, most of you will say ‘IT SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE!’ but in reality, no, it shouldn’t. I used to love the COD franchise, but MW3 was a disappointment to me, because MW2 and MW were two of my favorite CODs, MW3 didn’t live up to the potential. (Why would Russia invade Europe, if they wanted to attack the US. Go for Alaska, and then Canada, and then America!) Ghosts was trash, no need for argument here, and AW was a flop too. Treyarch is quitting the franchise after BOIII too, so the whole series will crash after this game.

  3. No Man’s Sky - Most of you haven’t heard of this. Basically, its a Sci-Fi game. You are in space, and it seems never ending. You have a whole universe to explore, and in this universe, there are millions, upon billions of stars that you can explore, and each star having planets (with unique life and ecosystems) and moons. It is literally impossible to see every planet for even 1 second each. The math says that it will take billions of years to do that. This game is basically a giant sandbox. You are free do explore, run around, shoot things, and escape intergalactic police called sentinels (which guard the safety of each planet’s life). You can do as you please.

  4. Star Wars Battlefront - This game has blown me away. I didn’t get to play the beta, but the reviews, and I’ve watched hours of gameplay and pros/cons. The graphics are unbelievable, and its star wars. Imagine being on Hoth, shooting down AT-ATs with your teammates, explosions, and X-Wings overhead. Unbelievable.

Runner up : Need for Speed - I love racing games, but I prefer Forza.

  1. Fallout 4 - heavy breathing This game looks perfect. Everything about it blows me away. I own New Vegas, but never got deep into Fallout and its lore until now. FO4 looks simply amazing. Definitely worth the money, as all Bethesda games are. Another pro for me is that its in Boston. I’m from Boston, and the setting is perfect to drag me into a Fallout game.

5: Star Wars: Battlefront- Only if it’s on sale for cheap and I get better internet. It’s a shiny Star Wars: Battlefront .5
4: American Truck Simulator- I want to drive in 'Murica
3: Roller Coaster Tycoon World- Or Planet Coaster if it sucks
2: No Man’s Sky- Who doesn’t want this game?
1: Just Cause 3- BLOW UP ALL THE THINGS!

Unfortunately, I’m not paying $60 for a video game. So I’m probably not going to get these for a while. Especially not Battlefront at that price.

5- Star Wars: Battlefront (I detest EA, so putting this on here pains me a little, but from the beta, it looks amazing)
4- Hitman
3- Roller Coaster Tycoon World (I was a big fan of RCT3, so I’m happy there’s a new one coming out)
2- No Man’s Sky (I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about this game)
1- Fallout 4 (Because Fallout)

5 - Having trouble thinking of a fifth candidate. (I would put the new Civ: Beyond Earth expansion if I wasn’t still pissed off at Sid Meier for Beyond Earth in the first place. Imho, Civ 5 is still superior.)
4 - No Man’s Sky (I’ve been following it to a limited extent, and the concept seems amazing.)
3 - Halo 5 (Shame me if you must, but I do love the Halo series.)
2 - Fallout 4 (Duh)
1 - StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void (I’ve loved Starcraft since I was 6. It will always be #1 to me.)

Metazelot well said. civ 5 will always be better than that Beyond Earth rubbish! But yet again, civ 5 was the exactly same before the expansions came out and now look at it! civ 5 is a great game, maybe that’s what they are planning for Beyond Earth!!!

Beyond Earth isn’t really another game, it’s effectively a reskin of Civ 5, it’s a shame really: I was quite looking forward to it.

Yeah it kinda is, its really ashame. I remember when I was getting really hyped when I saw the trailer which looked AMAZING, then when the cinematic came out I was like omg. such a disappointment well said octo

5: Geometry Dash - because I’ve got literally nothing else to do on the half hour bus ride to/from school and it teaches me anger management (i.e. how not to do it). - Try and beat 40 stars and 15 coins.
4: 80 Days - great storyline, but once you get past the first couple tries, you realize that on any given route, the exact same thing happens. Every. Single. Time. I’ve won about eight boxing matches in New York so far. - Try and beat 59 days :3
3: Civ V (+ DLCs) - given that this is, apart from Minecraft, the only other game any of my irl friends play (and that I own), but it gobbles up my time like nothing else. - Try and beat only getting to the industrial era before accidentally corrupting your savefile - FOUR TIMES.
2: Greed City - basically the only good app that’s for Windows Phone and nothing else (as opposed to every possible phone with the EXCLUSIVE exception of Windows Phone - why all the hate?) which is effectively an irl-based tycoon game. - Try and beat above 600th in any given monthly tournament.
1: Minecraft - because PCB. - Try and beat me to OP.

I don’t really have many other games, so it was really just a case of ordering these 5

3 • Minecraft Story Mode - <3
2 • No Man’s Sky - Looks incredible.
1 • Minecraft - 1.9/1.10 or maybe 2.0 stuff.

This is what I’m excited for the holidays and so on.

[size=24pt]5. Backwards Compatibility for Xbox One
I’m sure most of you wouldn’t care because you have PlayStations, but for me, I want Left 4 Dead 2, Halo: Reach, and CoD: Black Ops II to have backwards compatibility! A step forward for Microsoft.

[size=24pt]4. The Crew: Wild Run
This expansion brings more variety to The Crew, as it will have motorcycles, drift cars, dragsters, and a graphical overhaul to the game. I don’t have The Crew, and this seems like a good time to buy it!

[size=24pt]3. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
I am getting this game, and I’m playing it! I haven’t gotten a CoD game since Black Ops II, and it seems like a great opportunity to buy it.

[size=24pt]2. Fallout 4
My big brother is buying this game, and he only plays Madden NFL! That’s how big the hype is. For him, and for me.

Here are some well known upcoming games being released in the fourth quarter of 2015 that didn’t make it to my top 5 list:

Minecraft: Story Mode - Minecraft has a story, it’s everyone’s story!
Star Wars: Battlefront - Never a fan of Star Wars games, sorry.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate - Assassin’s Creed: Unity was choppy.
Rise of the Tomb Raider - Not a Tomb Raider fan.
Just Cause 3 - Interesting, I’ll get it sometime in the future.
Need for Speed - Not a fan of Need for Speed.
Life is Strange - Not a type of game I would play.

First of all, I have an Xbox One! Why wouldn’t I get it? This gives you a choice of what side you want to choose. Master Chief, or Spartan Locke. This may change your mind when you see the video.

Welp. In no particular order the bunch of shait I want and probably can’t afford that will be out this year.

Fallout 4- Fallout, enough said.
No man’s sky- Being able of calling everything with inappropriate and immature names, sold.
Overwatch- Blizzard did his own TF, sold.
Starcraft LotV- Blizzard strikes again and does his blizzard thingy.
Life is strange charapter 5- Never tought a teen hipster would make me cry
Battlefront- Is battlefront, but worse, BUT SO SHINY!

Steam sales, that’s always on my hype list, idk if it counts tough.
