Out of that list the only ones I would recommend are Blender, Softimage and depending on what you’re using it for, Google Sketchup.
I still recommend 3Ds Max or Maya over any of those any day
Agreed with Andy. I love many of Autodesk’s products, AutoCAD in specific because its very useful for many home type drawings, such as home theater setups and their wiring.
While we’re on the topic of 3D modelling, anyone got any 3D work to show?
I want to see more like this: This is Dead Fantasy by Monty Oum. He also did Haloid. DF2 was my fav.
or this: It’s Miku Hatsune doing “Nebula”.
Artist: http://www.tripshots.net/
Under “specialstuffs” he put the model data for Miku. It’s in 3DS Max format!
kyle, thats hot
Google Sketchup
I’ve taken a class for 3DS Max in high school, made a few animations. Considering installing it and trying out some things.
I Love sketchup. Right now Im learning how to use Maya 2012. I’m gonna learn how to animate with it for a school club. I’ll show yall what I have built.
