Idea to get new players to our Forum

I have a simple idea on how to get these new players we get from our publicity to join our forum so that our PCB community grows, and maybe bigger chance of donators to come.

Here’s what I’ve got

We first create a new rank below trusted, perhaps called member.
Basically, this new rank will only be applied to players who have already joined the forums.
To be ranked up as Trusted, they must first get this new rank, meaning no Guest to Trusted instantly.

Summarizing it up :
We create a new rank that is given to people who joins our forums.

I like this idea. But the question is, what added perks does the forum rank receive on the server?

No additional permissions. +350 in-game currency. Add another broadcast cycle message that says “Get 350 coins by signing up at projectcitybuild.com forums”.

Speaking of which, the number one thing I see newbs doing is trying to talk to NPCs. Perhaps a sign right on the boat that says “[NPC] means Non-player Character” … “Right click them to see their sales”.

I like the +350 coins addition when they sign up in the forums. Gives them more purpose on joining.
