i cant get on the server

For some reason what I go on to the multiplayer menu it says I can’t connect to the server

Close it, and reopen it.

Check on things, such as programs that may be blocking your attempts at a connection (anti virus or firewalls), Check to make sure you are connecting to the correct ip address, see if you can connect to other servers around. Check that your minecraft version is 1.7.5. Try running minecraft in admin mode (right click on the exe and select run as administrator)

Yeah, as fatso said, you need to downgrade to 1.7.5.

Im using 1.7.4 so either one should work fine
