[b]Shaders look great and really enhance gameplay, but you don’t know how to download them. You have tried countless times to download them but they never seem to work. Here I will give easy step by step instructions to download them.
- Download forge. Here is a direct safe link that I got from http://files.minecraftforge.net It will download it directly so you don’t have to skip ads and go through that bullshit.

Double click the file that just download onto your computer. It should prompt you to open it. A little Java should then open up and it is either called Java or simpleinstaller.

Click open and keep it on client side.
- Now it is time to download shaders. Here is the direct link: http://www.karyonix.net/shadersmod/files/ShadersMod-v2.4.12mc1.8.jar
No advertisements, it just downloads automatically.
- Once you get shaders, (stay on step 5 for mac and go to step 6 for windows) go to finder and press command shift g
and it should bring up a little bar that says Go to the Folder:
in that bar copy ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
You should see a folder called mods. Open that and drag the shaders mod into the mods folder.
- This is if you are on windows. You know the little bar that you go on to search for programs? In that type %appdata%
go to .minecraft and you should see the mods folder. Put shaders in there.
You are basically done. Go onto minecraft and press options, then video settings, and then shaders. Press open shader pack file.
Scroll to the bottom of this post and check out the shaders he lists. Find your favorite and download it. Put it in the shaderpack file. Link @Below
