how does one acquire dirt faster? if im not mistaken, machines cant exactly move…

You compress plant matter into dirt. That is, if that is still a thing. Don’t forget to use your Dirt Chest 9000!
You can also make spells to AOE mine. OR make the god tier magic shovel (Awakened Ichorium) to mine 5x5 stretches with no durability loss.
Quarries can easily get dirt too. How about computercraft methods? Turtles love to work for you!
Or if your crazy, construct a Floating inch drive powered solar dig en’ rig! I mean its not like it will crash the server…

There’s always summoning a meteor using the power of your own blood to get that dirt. Or you can just right click with a bound shovel.
