I am making a town in a desert called Henderson. I know, sound like a “gay male’s name”. It is the southeast suburbs of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.
It is at -762,65,4559
It is south of the U.N. through the arctic snow biome and turn west when you get to the south edge of it.
City rules:
Building Codes:
All homes are southwest style, which means that the walls have to be sandstone or smooth sand stone. The floors can be whatever you want because they are on the inside. Roofs must be brick, sandstone or wood stairs (spruce, oak or birch are recommended) slabs or stairs.
The houses I build are modeled after real home plans on houseplansandmore.com
If you want me to build your house for you, go to the site and select “SEARCH House Plans by Style” to the right, then select “Southwest”. Tell me the plan number or if I am not on the server, you can place a sign where you want the house (not too far from the current houses) and tell me the plan number on the sign.
If you build your own house, squares are not allowed. Use the floor plans at houseplansandmore.com for ideas of shapes and designs.
This city is not like middlebury or riverside, where the houses toutch each other, this is a suburban town where each house has its own yard. Do not build close to a house without the home-owner’s permission.
Anyone who lives in the town are encouraged to post their opinions and feedback to the style, function, etc. of the town and suggest changes if needed to help improve the city.
Advantages of living in Henderson:
Because of the desert environment, there is plenty of open room to build. The town will have i mine and farms like the other towns. If you have ideas or suggestions for more advantages, please reply.
Land is free in Henderson until the there are enough residents and the town is “official”. In order for this, you will need to leave/sell your current house so that you will be recognized as an official resident.
I do not own any of the plans on the website, I just use them for inspiration. The plans are legal property of their designer/architect. All rights reserved to them.
