This is just for anybody who is having trouble with LAN and can’t find anything to help them. I recently figured out a last resort to fix any problem with someone not being able to join a LAN world all of the sudden.
The list varies from easy fix to last resort no other options.
1: Force update and reset your Minecraft.jar (To get rid of any bugged mods, or get lucky and get the easy fix)
2: Restart computer and or wifi connection (For issues that aren’t from the .jar but from the computer)
3: (Still having issues where nobody can connect to your world[size=78%])[size=78%]Have friends direct connect to your ip listed below the save file
4: (You may have a bugged block) Find the bugged block somehow and remove it (Depending on when the issue occurred you may be able to locate the exact block)
5: (If you can’t find the block exactly) Re-Create the world with the same seed, teleport to the exact points of certain areas in the new world (This will remove a lot of unwanted land to both keep the file size down and lessen chances of getting a bugged block randomly) use World Edit to copy certain spots of the old world, and put them in the new world (This will allow you to either locate the exact area of the problem, or simply get rid of the bugged block by not having it in a new world)Be sure to back up the world before every new import (Incase you encounter the bugged block or something causing the issue in a file you’re importing)
That’s about all i have figured out. Wish i had found something else out before i had to resort to step 5, but at least now i am getting things fixed and havent ran into a new problem.
