Hearing a lot of mis-banned incidents...

From just my brother alone, I’ve heard already three stories of people being banned for griefing, when it was an accident, one of them had the person banned twice even after the unbanned, does this usually happen?! O.o It shouldn’t…

It could just be some of the new mods being a little trigger happy. But if it was a true accident then im sure a ban appeal would be easy to make and get accepted.

If its at least more than 5 blocks broken and looks purposful, then a ban will be issued if he is a guest. If its less than that and looks accidental, then the player should be warned to fix it. If they are member’s + they should always be warned to fix it if its small, if its huge, a ban will be issued.

What you’ve told us is probably guests being banned, usually when someone new joins they grief intentionally, so the ban should be just. If they think it was a mistake they SHOULD post a ban appeal.

Ymb is totally correct. If these people want to be unbanned they can appeal. Locked.

Everyone makes mistakes. Our natural assumption after seeing blocks broken is that it is a grief and the offender should be banned and rolled back. So we do it. If we are wrong a ban appeal can be made. Better safe than sorry. I’v seen many griefing teams use the ‘it was an accident’ excuse and getting away with it. Generally, if they can be bothered to make an appeal then it was an accident.

Ggg, I do not approve of your post at all. It is slander against Hard, offensive to read, and unprofessional. Normally, I might just remove it, but I feel this should be pointed out.

Please note the real answers to the original poster’s question. You were the only one to simply poke in after the lock, simply to complain.

And? If they are causing trouble I for one do not want them on the server.

This is why it took so long for you to become OP. Your maturity level is still low. As liam said, if someone is being disruptive (griefing, trolling ect.) we don’t want them on our server. Also, it’s not the best idea in the world to slag off staff members. Especially when they have a higher rank than you.
