I figured I would share with the community our Computer Science building at the University of Fortress. Inside, my fellow Fortress creator Jhogg has completed a feat of redstonery that he will have a tough time topping. Here is his Binary - Digital number converter.
This is the input room (complete with sliding glass doors) where obviously you input your number.
Then its a short walk to where your number comes out in binary form. In this case the binary number is 010 (torch is off for 0 and on for 1)
The next room is where your number comes out in a base 10 form.
010 is the binary code for 2 and as you can see thats what the converter spits out.
Here is another pic of the really extensive build
Major props to Jhogg on this one, if you would like to learn more, you are free to go into the basement of the UofF engineering building and take a look at some of the examples that are set up down there. As always please respect the wiring because as we know redstone is fragile.
