Reason for Ban Stealing Neyalex’s enchant table and surroundings, apparently raiding part of his village.
Reason to be Unbanned 1) Part of the reason is unclear, which shows bad moderation “apparently” suggests that no investigation was in place, it also saddens me to think that you recruit staff who ban via assumptions.
2) I am more than happy to return the things stolen, being a while ago and only addressed recently, I’ll just go off what he/she says they lost.
3) I have played since 2012, I love the server.

We don’t ban via assumptions, we have logs which all staff check before banning. I’d suggest if you love this server so much you drop the shitty attitude and explain yourself politely rather than launching personal attacks against staff members.

Not all of our staff speak English as their first language either, so while you may feel the need to not-pick the choice of words used, I think the general consensus has been conveyed clearly, and it is that you broke the items mentioned.

My point still stand at the fact that I’m willing to repay the stolen goods. Mannriah in your reply you acknowledged my other points but not this one. Being the best and only server I play on, I would be delighted to be granted a second chance.

Sorry for late answer. Neyalex called me to see a raid in his city. Logs said ‘firewater’. He said you did not have permission. As mentioned before, im not from an english-speaking country, so english is not my first language. And yes, it was not an assumption. Logblcok doesn’t lie.

  1. Why did you raid his village, even knowing that it is not allowed?

  2. You banned or not, the goods could be returned to Neyalex.

  3. How can we be sure that you won’t do it again?

Please be very clear on the reason for unban. ‘‘I love this server’’ or ‘‘it is the only one I play’’ is not a valid reason. I think some apologetic feelings must be expressed on your appeal. Well, try again replying on this post.

The reason I say it was an assumption, is because in the ban message you say “apparently”, but I digress, enough of the assumption topic.
EstevaoBuilder, in reply to your questions…

  1. I raided his village simply in desperation of resources, petty? I know, but there’s your answer.
  2. Whether or not you can rollback or spawn in his items, the point I am making is that if I were to be un banned, I would still have won (obtained the items) so giving them back means that a) I can satisfy the reason of the ban b) not gain anything from the rule breach.
  3. Because almost, if not 5 years of me being part of the server, committing the one offense, it should seem unlikely to you that I’d do it again, and also the fact that I am a little upset to be banned, as I had put a lot of effort into my own project which at the moment is all lost. Therefore I would not want to put myself through that kind of loss again.
    (that should also answer your final question)

One last thing that i must add is a question of my own.
Does the server actually have a policy of ban rules? I stole something, that with ‘trial’ could be returned. Also do temp bans exist or is it just 1 rule break and an instant perm-ban? I hope my answers have provided a new light to the case at hand, my apologies for the damage.

We judge bans case by case in their appeals, there are no exact criteria for ban duration but there are averages and some offenses generally have more ban-time than others. We also consider the quality of the appeal, sincerity of the appealee and the attitude of the apealee. Yes, we do have temp-bans.
