Just a suggestion but I think it would be cool when the current Tekkit server is wiped to have the new server be FTB. Same mods as Tekkit, just updated versions of them and a whole lot of new, really awesome mods that look super fun to play.
They’re not all the same. It has some extra things, and others are removed. It would also mean more work for sip - blacklisting new items and stuff like that takes time. I personally prefer Tekkit, after seeing some FTB videos.
I prefer FTb over tekkit. maybe we can make a poll?
Most important thing… is there an Energy Condenser?

Warning!!! Energy collectors are still in game!!! Downside, plugins to limit items are few when it comes to feed the beast.
Edit: Only two versions of FTB have E Exchange 3 in them.

Plz no. We need a dedicated vanilla PvP rather than hardcore anyone who joins is now immediately fucked, excuse my french. Trust me I would love PvP, and I know a fairly large group of people that would enjoy it as well, but having a modpack + pvp = bad for newbies.
I want to keep the server as Tekkit, because it requires a lot of work on my part to continually change the server to the latest and greatest modpack. If there is a huge new modpack that comes out that changes everyone’s mind maybe, but it is a no for now. It would have to be very similar to the original Tekkit scale of popularity for me to adopt it.
