Even so, they practically alienated 95% of the more involved gamers. The ones who actively look up information. Anyone who’s into games will be aware of the major limitations set by Microsoft. So really the only clueless gamers who will be purchasing an Xbox out of sheer faith would be people like my parents who can’t tell the difference between a Nintendo and a Super Nintendo.
So after watching the Microsoft and Sony conference, and numerous videos of the Xbox one and PS4, I think I might end up getting the ps4…
I’ve been a die hard xbox fan since the original release of the first xbox! But, with all these new features coming to the xbox one, I’m just simply done. The xbox fan base has also died significantly by like 80%, it’s horrible man. But then again, we all saw it coming one way or another, just look at the games that made xbox to what it is/was, they’re all just garbage now (Talking about Halo 4 and Gears of war Judgement). I mean holy jam and toast batman, just look at the xbox forums! Literally over thousands of people complaining about the xbox one and are guaranteeing themselves on getting a ps4!

Microsoft is long from dead haha. This generation of consoles may just be Sony on top for a few years, like the 360 dominated the PS3 for the most part.
Microsoft has a huge enterprise market. Office. Like Liam said, they are not going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m not defending Microsoft Shadow, I’ve only ever owned Playstations xD I really dislike how Microsoft run their business, although I sure as hell couldn’t do any better. They get money, therefore are doing it right.
Also, that’s a brilliant advert. I actually find myself wanting to re-watch it to notice all the little details. It’s very rare to say you want to actually watch an advert…

That being said Office is a brilliant program compared to apples iWorks etc. And while the PC market is declining they still make money off Windows XP for christ sake.

Honestly i do have Windows 8, and love the bloody hell outta it. Windows is doing brilliant as far as PCs go imho, but being a PITA in Gaming.
Interesting. I really hate the “Metro” GUI but I do understand the need for progress. I just view the OS X - iOS GUI to be better than a Windows 8 total experience. OS X seems more like a computer than W8. iOS is similar but not exact.
Just my 3 cents. (exchange rate :P)
