While the price still screws Europe, the PS4 is clearly the winner in my book. Kingdom Hearts 3? Watchdogs? Assassin’s Creed? Even the PS+ service sounds nice with a free game every month for only $5 for the service. It may be worth it for just that.
Now how long till both systems are cracked? lol…
The only thing that slightly ticked me off about the Sony conference was the lack of any proper release date. It kindof got overshadowed by the rest of their announcements at the time, but even just one month would have been better than just ‘this holiday season’.
It is a shame how Europe still gets screwed over by the pricing too. But I wasn’t expecting anything else. It happens with every new console and every new blockbuster game.
In case you were wandering, the cost in Euros is equivalent to about $530 and the cost in Pounds Sterling is equivalent to about $545.
EDIT: I know why the prices differ so much. The US prices are pre-tax whereas the UK and Europe prices have tax included.
If it’s any consolation, it’ll be that price here too in aus
Don’t forget that the Euro is much stronger than the dollar right now. So while it may technically cost more over there, you guys make more than we do.
Also, turns out Sony is going the way of Xbox Live with a subscription service to use online multiplayer. You have to have PSN+ in order to play online. PS3 will stay the same in case anyone is worried.

But they now cost the same ($5 per month) and with PS+ you get a free new game every month rather than 2 old games with XBL. They are the same apart from that though.
Also, Sony will need to step up their game when it comes to security. As we all know, PSN is more vulnerable to hackers than XBL (although both have been breached). Sony will need to show that the cost is now worth it with that extra security over the old PSN.

Just adding that this map shows it pretty clearly. The only countries where the majority don’t support PS4 is where there isn’t any data.

Just thought, not all of them will be exclusive, but all the indie games are, and most of the ones not exclusive have exclusive added content for PS users.

There is so much Win on Nintendo right now. Also, IGN said KHIII will be on Xbox… im VERY leery of anything i hear on IGN since the April Fools Zelda Movie trailer, so im unsure. No talk about Zelda Wii-U yet, but i cried during the Wind Waker Preview
