Hello, I have been working on a minecraft map and I am in need on several things,
Better name for the map
Someone to help me make it (Can someone set up a server so multiple people can work on it?)
Ideas
Building buildings/houses
Redstone help/tut
People to talk to.
More to come when i think of it.
If anyone can help me with that, I will be very thankful. Ill even release it on pcb before i post it on Minecraftforum.net or what ever.
Story: You mom and dad are dead. You (and your sibling(s)) are trying to figure out what happened a few nights ago when your parents died. They left you with a little sister that you have to take care of. She seems to know where all the items are even though you don’t. Your dad was a heavy drinker and your mom was a smoker. Thats all due to their job. Miners.
Thursday night you heard an explosion and a neighbor ran to your house saying that the mine were your parents were exploded. They presumed all miners are dead. You can accept this fact and decided to do some investigation. You first have to find some clues on what happened. You first go to bed. *** [Midnight] you hear another explosion but brush it off as thunder. *** [dawn] you think you see a fire but also brush it off as sunlight creeping though the windows. As you awake you see your sister has set out a couple sets of armour, food, and weapons. You call out for your sister but you cant find her. You find a trail of “Blood” and a note that was quickly scribbled by her in a chest outside your door.
It reads: dad has hidden weapons underneath the house during MWI (Mine War I). But be careful, he has set traps down there and has not disarmed them.
As you climb back up to your house, you check your journal (Story line) and flip to the last page of it. Your sister asked you to search Mr. Burgandy’s house and see if you can find anything.

Thats all i have so far. Ill have to show you some screen shots of the map and see how you like it.

Hello, sorry for this bump but i wanted to show you what i had done (I forgot something and then made a corn/gold/butter pyramid and then lost it…) for the map. Most of you wont care but theres my knowledge of my redstoning…
I can tell you were not really ready to show your work yet. Much of the video is you figuring out how to show what you did. And aren’t you making it way too easy for the player when you give them all that good stuff?
Heres the reason why im giving the player all the good stuff so early. They will have to face the ender dragon with only what they have and if they defeat the dragon, they will be able to go on their adventure of something and stuff. This map will not be ready until i have tons of time (summer).

i can help with the mine, it has to be a minecraft 1.5/ 1.5.1 server, though. i thought of "TNT rows, rows of tnt to blast for ores, to make it more realistic. you find almost dead flint and steel at a chest in the front. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
