I’ve been getting very annoyed at Minecraft lately as I seem to be lagging out literally all the time… what happens is I move forward a few blocks and jump back, and then cannot pick up items. It means I keep having to relog every 30 seconds or so… It’s not my internet because I tested it yesterday and it’s better than AZZA’s but for some reason it only seems to be happening to me. Can anyone help?
I used to have this problem long before we started the PCB survival server. In fact, that was the reason it took us so long to set one up in the first place. The problem was caused by my firewall (at the time ZoneAlarm) and everytime I joined a server or placed/broke a block it would lag out. I just had to disable the firewall for the problem to disappear.
Not sure if it’s the same situation for you but it’s worth taking a look at your firewall if you have one
I have absolutely no idea what firewall I’ve got… or where to look for it. I am useless at computers
PC or MAC?
PC is under Control Panel>System>Firewalls AFAIK.

Well for some reason the lagging out magically stopped… I played for about 2 hours without a single lagout!
