Computer Issues(Power Supply?)

So… Ive had my computer up and running for 9 months, running every game on the highest settings. Well, today I get home, run World of Tanks(WoT), and am in the middle of a match, computer blue screens. However, the blue screen is only there for like a quarter of a second, then the computer dies. It then begins a continuous loop of powering on and off(not even to the motherboard splash screen). So I pull the whole thing apart, and replug the power cable to the motherboard. It powers on, no problem, I start WoT, and get into another match. About 8 minutes into the match, the computer decides to do the same thing.

Now, as pressing in the power cable for the motherboard solves the issue, I am forced to believe that it is a faulty wire on the PSU.

My PSU is a 620W Seasonic S12II.

Update Seems to only be crashing on WoT - trying to run the game again here in a couple minutes.
Update Talked to others while playing WoT. There were others having issues with the game giving BSODs yesterday. Maybe It’s just the game. + I got another BSOD after about 3 matches last night.

Must be serious if the game is crashing several people. My guess is a video card driver that is not compatible with the game. They either updated their side or… don’t know.

You can try either updating your drivers or reverting to a previous one. See if that does anything. Still, that you could not post is a bad sign. As you may have seen from a post I made, my issue was RAM.

So many BOSD lately. I do believe its the game. send a complaint to the game developers and maybe they’ll fix it

Well… Last time I updated the game at all was approx 2 weeks ago. It ran perfectly then. I havent updated my video card drivers since I put the rig together. I will see if there is an available update when I get home. Im currently running with my sidepanels off so I have quick access to the connectors in my computer when/if it crashes.

I also ran the Windows Memory Diagnostics and got no issues there - so that told me it wasn’t RAM(right?)

Try MemTest x86 or similar. It may go a bit more indepth. Also literally remove one of the sticks then the other and see if the problem is resolved. I know goof has had this issue in the past and the company replaced his RAM I believe.

The issue seems to have gone away for now… Haven’t had any crashes in the past day or so, I believe it may have been that my wire was slightly loose to my motherboard… However it got loose while being clipped in is beyond me.
