I don’t know if it is just me but when i throw a normal egg from a chicken no baby chickens spawn anymore.
I tried it alot of times with about 130 eggs. I got No baby chickens out of it. Does it have something to do with the latest update? Or is it just me?

It worked for me using one egg yesterday in Survival…

I have no idea dude O.o
I couldn’t find anything online about glitches.
I can say however–try throwing an egg on a torch? Apparently that is supposed to be a 100% chance of spawning a chicken :3

Nobody can spawn baby chickens atm Not even special xD

I think i broke it…

I threw 1 egg and got about 2 dozen chickens…

this is serious man

we tried throwing eggs - Didn’t work
killing a lot of chickens ( maybe the amount of chickens on the map was too high) and then throw - Didn’t work

Yomi there is a simplistic conclusion ive come to:

Chickens hate you. go breed some with seeds.

I have a feeling the mob limit for chickens (If such exists) has been reached. Have ya’ll tried other animals?

Or is this another creative spam… sigh…

If you’re trying to throw eggs in creative–then you’re never going to get any chickens, because you’ve never been able to spawn baby chickens with normal eggs in creative xD If you’re trying the spawn eggs and they’re not spawning… then I don’t know how to help you >_>

This. It should work on Survival, last time I tried it did. Creative never spawns chickens from eggs.

I also had a gander at this, attempts to make baby chickens in steampunk(survival) was unsuccessful. Not a single chicken was born from a million eggs.

I could however spawn them in by command using ‘/spawnmob chicken:baby’. I offered yomi to spawn an eighth of any amount of eggs i was given into baby chickens until this is fixed.

Also after Ive had most of my livestock killed, I am in need of 2 pigs…
