Changing usernames? I'm alive?

So I finally got into my Mojang account, now I can change my username… FINALLY. I made my minecraft account when I was 12, I’m 15 now… so. I’m not sure what I should change it to. Maybe something with Anima in it? But probably not. Anyways I’m not sure how changing usernames works with the server, Will my rank still be there, and will I be recognised as the same player? Will my chests be zoned to me?
Also, I have a new skin. It’s Markl from How’s Moving Castle, regardless of the character I still think it’s a cute skin either way.

Hey Anima and welcome back to PCB! It’s your good ol’ pal CherryRed commenting (I also did a name change). To answer your questions besides name changing:

  1. Whatever your rank was last you were here it will remain the same. Forum says your Trusted, and a bunch of staff should remember you so it won’t be a problem to still be Trusted in game.
  2. You wont need to worry about previous things being logged in-game technically because we’ve gone through a map change during your absence, see next answer.
  3. Everything from the previous Creative and Survival maps (the ones from this past year) were archived and there is a world download for them. You can find that under the announcements on the first page since the thread is recent.

So there’s no confusion, none of your previous survival belongings (and chests obviously) were not saved in-game, yet they will be up for grabs only through single player in the map downloads. Money was also reset for this map so your new and current balance starts you off at $500. We’ve gone through some changes for these new maps so I would recommend reading everything you can in the first page of announcements so you can be completely up to date with the community. If you have any questions about anything the best place to ask would be in game. If staff aren’t online then you probably can get answers from other Trusted since they know what they’re doing by now with the changes. See you around soon :slight_smile:
