But guys, that’s what cool about Minecraft. The good minecrafter is the one who can make anything with a limited number of blocks. You want to add stuff to the server which has a possibility of making lag or maybe glitches, bugs etc just so you can have a sitting position while on a chair? when do you plan to just sit and do nothing on the server?

It doesn’t even really cause lag. Every time a majority of normal players wants something it gets shot down over something that isn’t really even valid. sigh

Aah, the old Survival Vs Vanilla debate. The only (player-usable) non vanilla things we have are homes, warps, deathchests and chestshops. They don’t affect the play too much. Not vanilla normally means people fly around with jetpacks and macerators.
It does. Here’s how. The code for Spigot and plugins get loaded into the RAM on server startup. It’s pretty obvious more plugins = more code = more ram usage = lag.
Andy/Spec was even nice enough to put CITY and BUILD in bright, shiny colours.
We also have things like colored signs and the house buying plugins. Can we at least give it a try to test for lag? Saying it isn’t vanilla should not matter.
Technically coloured signs are vanilla, but not being vanilla is a good reason, because we don’t want plugins that totally detach the server from vanilla. This plugin isn’t really needed.
I still think this would be a good plug in, I mean, what’s the point of making chairs if u can’t sit in them? And plus it’s just a little plugin, if you don’t like it then don’t use it. Simple as that 
if this gets accepted a lot plugins will be suggested which ends with: " but this is also a small plugin and the chairs got added why not this also?"
this server has run fine without it for a long time.
This will annoy me. I’ve never ever had a desire to actually sit in any chair in minecraft. If I walk up my stairs and accidentally right click, my ass will get glued to the floor. Not fun.
This is the best reason ive seen not to have it >.<.
The idea and concept is fun! Being able to role play a bit more in terms of sitting in diners eating with friends. But as ruby mentioned there is the issue of the ‘seat’ block becoming annoying in builds where that block is common.
Well it only makes you sit down if you right click on it and its not like your going to be right clicking while climbing the stairs lol. I have never accidentally right clicked while climbing stairs lol. As the climbing/move buttons are on the keyboard itself, so i don’t find this much of a hassle. to get off the chair, click R like any other mine cart, horse etc.
We should at least give it a test run and if problems or lag occur we can simply remove it.
i think its a good idea i have alot of “chairs” in my buildings and id be awsome for them to work as chairs

Yes! Honestly i feel like most of the community doesn’t have a problem with this idea and i feel like we should give it a test run if the SOPs + Object.

I’ve played on a server that has the sit plugin, and that was never a problem.
When i build a roof, i tend to use stairs, and i will build from stairs that are already there. LOL NOPE, ASS GLUED TO ROOF INSTEAD. GG FUCK YOU.
yeah. and youd be surprised how often i do just randomly click when walking…
Guys this doesn’t matter anyways. Why do we even vote on something like this we the people are not important. The people with power are the staff and I guess we will have respect that. I don’t really care about the subject any more. They can be secretive all they like and vote with out taking a consensus from us who populate the server and are effected by it. Sure they can treat us like children even if we are older than some of them. We are not trustworthy with the title “trusted”. We can throw ideas at them all day they don’t care for we are insignificant life forms compared to the gods they are. A place where when a staff member does equally if not more bannable offense then a member, donator, or trusted will get a slap on the wrist when the lower life forms have to plead their way back into the server. There is nothing we can do but conform to the rules and follow them mindlessly. Where we are terrified by staff if we have wronged them and can not laugh it off like you would if you were on the same level. Where a simple joke can be twisted into sexual harassment be banned from it. A place where listening to a staff conversation is ban worthy. A place where killing a thief to get your stuff back absolves them of their crime and makes you more guilty. A place where you gender will earn you higher ranks faster…
But I have a dream that one day we will walk hand-in-hand staff and member. I have a dream that one day our children will play together regardless of the color of their name. A day where we can abolish staff only channels and can talk freely. A day where the color of our name will not change the treatment you receive…
