When i build a roof, i tend to use stairs, and i will build from stairs that are already there. LOL NOPE, ASS GLUED TO ROOF INSTEAD. GG FUCK YOU.

Guys this doesn’t matter anyways. Why do we even vote on something like this we the people are not important. The people with power are the staff and I guess we will have respect that. I don’t really care about the subject any more. They can be secretive all they like and vote with out taking a consensus from us who populate the server and are effected by it. Sure they can treat us like children even if we are older than some of them. We are not trustworthy with the title “trusted”. We can throw ideas at them all day they don’t care for we are insignificant life forms compared to the gods they are. A place where when a staff member does equally if not more bannable offense then a member, donator, or trusted will get a slap on the wrist when the lower life forms have to plead their way back into the server. There is nothing we can do but conform to the rules and follow them mindlessly. Where we are terrified by staff if we have wronged them and can not laugh it off like you would if you were on the same level. Where a simple joke can be twisted into sexual harassment be banned from it. A place where listening to a staff conversation is ban worthy. A place where killing a thief to get your stuff back absolves them of their crime and makes you more guilty. A place where you gender will earn you higher ranks faster…
But I have a dream that one day we will walk hand-in-hand staff and member. I have a dream that one day our children will play together regardless of the color of their name. A day where we can abolish staff only channels and can talk freely. A day where the color of our name will not change the treatment you receive…

Sexual harassment isn’t just against the server rules, it’s illegal.
As far as I know, nobody has been banned for listening into a staff conversation. People have been banned for impersonating staff, however.

I do not know of a single incident where this has happened.

Staff channels will not be abolished. Ever. That’s like asking the CIA and FBI to publically broadcast everything they do and say. It would just mean the terrorist cell could split up before any arrests are made. The same applies here with griefers. In the end, some things are best kept secret from the public for their own good.
In regards to being able to talk freely, you already can. We are not the NSA, we are not taking notes on everything you say in the hope that we can catch you out. We just let you play.

That day was about 3 and a half years ago when the server 1st started.
I seriously do not understand the amount of bullshit going on lately. All of this garbage about trusted not being valued enough or rights being oppressed. I swear, you must all expect PCB to be a perfect environment for your damn wants and needs. News flash: the world isn’t perfect. As Pie said and I have said before, this is not a democracy. Yes, we try to be as open as possible, and we try to get input from the community as often as possible, but that is a gift, not a right. If you think PCB is oppressive because everyone isn’t an admin, I’d like you to compare us to some of the other servers out there. I guarantee that the majority aren’t half as free and open as this community is. That is why I have always returned here after going somewhere else. Even before I became staff I felt like I had a share in the community, no matter how small the slice. I was happy to have Some say, not unhappy that my slice was not large enough.
The people who are on staff are on staff because they have been evaluated to be more responsible. Just because a lot of people want something does not mean that it should happen. I’m not saying that the staff members are better people than any of the trusted members, but they are in their positions to guide this server, and they, and rules, are in their places for a reason. You may disagree with individual staff members, or the rules, but they exist for the greater good of the community. The greater good of the community is not synonymous with what a portion of or even a majority of the community wants. Ultimately the community is owned and run by a small group of people, and if they wanted to change something, it would be their right, not yours, because they are the ones who pay for and run this fucking server. I don’t agree with every rule myself, but I will uphold and enforce those rules because the staff have agreed on whole for them to exist.
And while there is a place for complaining about problems with the system and for fixing problems that may or may not exist with the current structure of project city build, I am completely and utterly baffled by the complaint that you lack rights. You all already have the ability to talk freely on the forums and in game. Nobody is going Nazi on you and preventing you from voicing your opinion, evident by the fact that none of the people currently complaining about their “lack of rights” have been silenced or banned. You are still a part of the community, but I’ll be damned if you think you are entitled to anything. I have never been one to believe that anyone really ‘deserves’ anything. I do not deserve my rank, it was given to me, and I am grateful for it. You do not ‘deserve’ to get everything you want. Not everyone can get what they want. If you are really going to speak out and try to change the system, you better be mature about it or prepare to get your feelings hurt.
Sigh, I just want to finish off this off-topic rank by emphasizing that although we’d love to have you, we don’t need you. PCB is something special the way the community is set up, and while I see that you may be concerned for its future, I think you’re going about it the wrong way by bitching that your “rights” are being abused or anything like that. We are all capable of speaking on equal ground here, which is not something that necessarily exists on every other server.

As far as I know he has not broken any rules that are bannable offenses. All that he has done to my knowledge is abuse powers of SOP in the past, however, it wasnt an offense to ban for.

You are completely misrepresenting what I said by claiming that I do not think civil rights are important. Civil rights were extremely important to history. However, that is real life, involving say in a real government. The same rules do not apply to a freaking minecraft server. You cannot put civil rights and server rights on the same level.
For example, lets a group of people own a bar. They are the managers. People come into the bar. The managers let them do whatever they want. But suddenly the customers tell the managers how they think the bar should be run. Now, the managers can listen to them, and even make the changes if the want to, but its their choice, not the customers choice. I mean, the managers can toss the customers out of the bar if they really want to. In this situation, the Bar is the server, the managers are the staff, who in our scenario also choose other staff, and the customers are everyone else.
That would be annoying when I’m doing a roof because of lag. Would there be a way to make a chair by using a command so when you place a stair it would be a normal stair until you use some command on it to turn into a chair.
