Can't Get on Creative/Survival

I am unable to get onto creative/survival, it tells me I have a “bad login”. I’ve tried restarting but no luck. I had the problem last week when I accidentally tried to connect to pcb instead of another server but didn’t think anything of it. Also the bar up the top is lying, FTB/Tekkit isn’t online yet it says it is.

I am using version 1.5.2.

whenever this happens to me, i ususally have to completly restart my PC, then log back in. it usually works for me.

About tekkit it is synced to the website via a plugin so it might just display “no one is on” even when the server is down (this is a guess as I am unsure about how the plugin works)

Sort of.

If the server is actually down, it should always display it as offline. If the server freezes then it will probably say it’s online with no one on. Nothing I can do to get round that unfortunately.

@Anj are you still having that problem?

he was actually on about an hour ago, with Ouhai, YMB, Topgear and I. When he restarted, and then did something else, it started working for him.

you actually should only usually have to restart minecraft, not the whole computer… shadow your computer is odd xD

If you use the new launcher make sure that it says Play and not Play offline

It seems the only way to use it is to trick the launcher by logging in using enter before the button becomes clickable, otherwise it defaults to play offline when your using an older version.

Seems odd. perhaps it is time for you to start using the new launcher, and just start switching to the older version of MC, and going from there.

This is using the new launcher. A lot of the time, especially when your autologged in and you start up the launcher, it only gives you offline play mode for 1.5.2

Heres a solution, dont use new launcher?

Here is how to fix it:

  • Delete your old profile
  • Make a new profile
  • Enter username etc etc.
    done.
