Build deleted, and goofed?!?

Hey there,

So, I logged onto the server earlier to discover my build (@ x 6000, z 6700)wasn’t there. I asked asmo, since he was on at the time, and he knew anything about it. He tried to do a rollback of some sort, which half fixed the problem, however a lot of my work was still lost, so he tried a “logblock redo” I believe, which appeared to have fixed the problem, however proceeded to then chop the top off of my structure as well as a few random pieces of it.

I was wondering if I would be able to get the build back, as (as you might imagine if you see it) it took quite some time.

Hi Karivis,
I’ll be on at some time today, I’ll try and get the build back for you.

According to the ban list, you had been banned by wooly for using an unauthorised mod to make the build, so the build was removed by me. I will try and get the build back for you, it should simple be a matter of rolling back what I did yesterday.

Thanks, but David managed to fix it in about 30 mins or so.

Also, I mean no offence…but I had been building for days since I was “banned”, so I’m not sure why you thought I was still banned. The banlist is showing a typo that wooly made.

Also, it’s only the building that’s been fixed (only as much as David could do; there are holes in it that I need to redo) and there’s a large swathe of area that I’d cleared that I now need to reclear.

I’m yet to check with wooly if you are still meant to be banned by him, so if you are, I’ll be getting him to correct the typo, or unban that username.

I thought that appeal was with JBI?

JBI banned me after. And the were for the same reason regardless. Worded differently. I’d suggest further conversation in pm, so as not to spam the forums.
