Ever since i got trusted (after donator) the /back command has been really gitchy and will take me somewhere random. Today I died and did /back and it took me somewhere in the nether randomly… (I lost some efficiency 3 unbreaking shovel and a Efficiency III shovel [both dim] and i also lost half a stack of quartz. Also: 21 Levels from mining) But the /back command really needs to be fixed tbh, I’ve been getting killed and unable to go back to my recent death location. -Javi
That’s weird, I’m currently trusted and I have no problems with /back. 
In my experience, the /back command is not a good tool for getting back to where you died. It takes you back to the last place you were before you teleported, not died. Perhaps the game no longer recognizes a death as a teleport so it does not take you back there?
I am sorry for your loss, but this is survival. Have you not raged after losing stuff before? I failed to find it, but there was a video where a guy is using ender pearls to tp faster across his bridge and he just barely throws it wrong…
