Applying for Moderator

The Apply for Mod application is strictly just that, an application to become a Moderator. There is no application for becoming Trusted, Operator, or any other rank. It is STRICTLY Moderator. Member is achieved by signing up for the forums, Trusted is achieved by a unanimous vote among the staff.

I want to make it clear to people who read this thread just what being a Mod is about. It’s not all fun and games and is borderline work. You’re volunteering to work for us to help moderate the server and ensure players are playing by the rules. Applying for selfish reasons like wanting to ban players will make yourself look bad.

Members and Trusted can apply for Moderator, but applying does not ensure you will become one. It is STRONGLY recommended that you do not apply if you are a Member. This is because if we don’t trust you enough to give you the Trusted rank, we definitely won’t trust you enough for a staff position. Guests will be denied instantly for obvious reasons. When you apply for Mod, we take into account everything we know about you. Your personality, trustworthiness, goals, activity. Being generally nice and helpful to everyone is a sure way to get promoted. It is important to note that you must address why you should become mod properly in the application - no one sentence answers. Please give a detailed and honest response.

After applying, please do not ask about your application. We will not tell you anything about your application and doing so usually lowers your chances of being applied. If you were chosen to be a Mod, we will contact you within a week of your application. If not then you were denied and you may try again once you think you’ve proven yourself more worthy.

Please note that when you apply for Moderator that your app is taken very seriously as part of the application process. If you give one sentence answers that fail to address the question and do not use proper grammar in your application, it is unlikely your application will be accepted.
