I’ve stumbled upon a “DS4Windows” application that makes a DualShock4 controller usable by a computer, as well as completely configurable and instructions on getting it wirelessly connected via bluetooth. Multiple setups, dubbed “Profiles”, can be set, allowing for many different games or uses. I’ve set mine up to work for Minecraft, with many of the same controls for the console versions. Lol, I have been using DS3 for about a year now for PC games. My PS3 controller is REALLY useful for games like Dynasty Warriors or Hyper Dimension Neptunia 2. Both have terrible PC controls (mostly for camera).
Great that a PS4 version exists. I hope they made it easier to use. DS3 was a bitch to get working at first for me.
Took me a fair while to learn, but I picked up on it quickly, and it’s now probably going to be a big gaming thing for me on PC.
Even though I own a PS3, I actually just bought an xbox360 controller to use on my PC, because it just works without any 3rd party software.
Plus I find xbox controllers more comfortable in general.
Fair enough. I’m personally digging the more slim build of the PS4 controller, where I find it a bit more comfortable for my own preferences.
