Anthem+Olympics

I was thinking about the server, and I realised the towns have no national anthems. That might make for some interesting patriots. But then I thought that if that kind of thing were to omenup, maybe there should be some kind of Olympics? Every three months, the events would be held in a different city. There would be parkour events, spleef, a pvp event, archery, horse riding and other Olympic events. There would be an opening event with all the towns teams coming out one by one, building the flag of the town at the back, with the Olympic torch being taken by foot to the next town. It could be passed on at intervals.

It would be good, as the towns have little interaction with each other right now. The first could be held at farcoast, the main city, or here at wildefay.

The only problem would be making the actual events. Without command blocks or any of that fancy stuff it would be kinda hard

This has been brought up multiple times, but it never makes any progress.

There would be a trusted person watching from very close, a referee if you will.

Also first place winners would get gold block, second would get iron block, third would get coal block. The winning city in the overall events could get a smaller reward for each citizen, like a name tag.

To robin: if this ever happens, we may as well try to get it working now.

Hmm well I could start on building a stadium in Tsumai but it will be a while. Also, what events are there going to be because I have to be able to make them. If I think this is possible I’ll consider making a stadium.

^^^ I think first should be the gold block plus some diamonds because gold is pretty much pointless.

At the beginning, all the Olympic teams would walk around the stadium and build their flag in the centre. The torch (which would be brought by foot from the town which it was preciously at) and be placed in the centre. The olympics would take place every 2-4 months.

Events:

horse riding (would have things to jump over)

archery (would be like a basic target)

pvp (you know how this would be)

parkour

spleef

Ok I would be able to make an arena that would host everything except parkour and spleef that would be a different story.

So the first olympics would be held in tsumai? That’s a big responsibility. I hope you are up to it.

I hope I’ll be able to get the stadium up by…when? Btw I’ll probably have my friend run most of the games because my computer is not exactly the best and it lags alot. But Like I said I prob wont be able to do spleef and parkour because those arenas wont really fit my town :confused:
