Hello fellow PCBer’s

Today, we had a severe issue.

When I joined, there were several guests on. One of them in particular was griefing (darkbenni) and the only people who were on (Myself, Filipenis, and Deltavor) could not do anything about it. So, I suggest some sort of command that would allow us to disable a player. I was talking with Zesty about it, and he agreed.

So, I have a some suggestions for this problem:

A personal favorite of mine is gun. I use this in creative to annoy players who are griefing. Perhaps there is some sort of command which allowed trusted and above to use a “Jail Gun”: Aim at a player and fire it to send them to some sort of jail, where they can’t get out of.

A suggestion from Zesty was a “freeze” command. I assume this command freezes players (no shit), preventing them from moving.

These are just suggestions, and feel free to add any.

This would be helpful in case anyone is griefing and no ops are on
Also trusted would need their right to check block destruction in order for this to be used

I find it a cool idea, but some people like yvell would abuse it.

I agree with mega. But if someone abuses it perhaps enforce a 3 strike system where if a trust misuses it 3 times they get demoted?

This all sounds like a great idea, especially whubilly’s 3 strike thingy.

This is too much power for members and some trusted users as well. It’s very rare for no OP’s to be on and 90% of the time the griefs are able to just be rolled back. I don’t agree with this but if it does get implemented it should only be for very few choice Trusted players

That’s why we’re stricter when it comes to giving out Trusted to people so such an incident will never happen again.

I’m for giving Trusted players a /kick or /freeze command and nothing more. But there will be no 3-strike rule. One strike and that’s it.
If you use it on another player for any other reason besides griefing then you will immediately lose Trusted status. That includes using it for ‘fun’ or showing it off.

Yea we can’t have people just screwing around with it aimlessly, and if it does happen we need people to report people doing it if this does get implemented.

While I like this strike plan, what if there’s a misunderstanding.

Perhaps we should bring back the red ore and sticks.

I changed my mind, im completely against this, there should just be a better way for people to contact the staff.

Well as you said in a different post I believe id there is a problem you could send a pm to some mod+ as it sends an email and my phone will give me a notification when so.

I think the /kick command is the best choice for trusted+. It is annoying if it get abused, but that is all it is. Abuse like that is easily reported since its not a ban.

The risk is low, while the gain is high. Why not?

I agree with r33bok and nek both but r33bok is right we know a choice amount of people will abuse it and we cant do anything to stop it i say just leave is to the ops and mods.

Our Trusted players are trusted for a reason. There MAY be 1 or 2 among them who would abuse such a command, but like I said. One strike. There are no second chances for misusing a command. If they do misuse it then they will be demoted or possibly banned for it. It won’t be a reoccurring problem if people care about their rank.
