New city build with the server reset today. Based on Saratoga Springs NY, Geneva NY, Albany NY, Portland Maine, Newport, Rhode Island, and the LI gold coast.

Which combined emit this sort of feeling:

Smaller-esque city with a few midrises, lots of 19th and early 20th century construction, expansive parks, grandiose residential districts with rowhouses, victorian builds, etc. Will be situated slightly inland off the ocean, with an egregious mansion and estate lined boulevard bordering the sea (ala Newport, LI North shore). I recommend frequenting shorpy for period-specific build inspiration.

Thanks, gotta terraform out the rest of the plot. Heavily inspired by Meudon, a Long Island mansion that got torn down in the 1960s:

B/c minecraft gets derpy with sizes under 1 meter it’s bigger than the real thing, measures out at ~90 meters lengthwise before I do addition onto the west facade of the house.

My goodness, Willink you have a great talent in building. Your builds have a lot of variety put into them, and I don’t see the amount of detail into buildings that often on the server, even if you’ve only built the exteriors. I bet that you are as great at decorating interiors, as much as building the exterior. :slight_smile:
