tbh kyle i think he should be able to keep it. i mean hell, he worked hard for that money and the diamonds! if anyhting allow him to keep the eggs.

Money situation is final, and you can have some diamonds, just not a ridiculous amount, as that defeats the object of a ‘fresh start’.

Like i said im not going to use them unless i need more supplies for building things, its my last resort option. But since you guys said no then i guess ill just eat them…

1.8 isnt coming out anytime soon, Notch and Jeb said they wanna release it when its completely not buggy at all. Instead what came out today was Beta 1.8 pre release 2! Less BUGS

I feel as if people can take whatever they feel necessary. However, if someone has a chest full of diamonds or other rare material we should only let them take so much. Aside from those few items people should be allowed to take whatever they feel was/is important to them.

i agree with jet. i have been waiting for 1.8 to BUILD because were not moving the entire map over. i think we should be able to take 1 stack of diamonds. i dont want to spend time mining. and if you think that we should only take over 9 or 10 diamonds YOU CAN but i dont think that rule should apply to everyone. most people dont want to have a fresh start.

for the most part this. i mean yes a fuckton of diamond no should not be allowed but 9-10? wow cmon man this isnt the fucking great depression. if keaton says he doesnt want to start all the way over then he shouldnt have too. now im not saying this is a terrible server (atleast _andy isnt the dictator of a dictatorshit (<3 ya andy)) but yall are acting like some of us shouldnt even get a say :L…

I agree with limiting to 2 stacks of iron. Diamonds should be no more than 1 stack, and that’s being VERY generous. I actually prefer Ruby’s idea of 32 diamonds, but I know I would want more. I have never had a full stack of diamonds in all my mining (I use em as I find em). They really should be rare.

We will only force a limit of 1 stack, but we encourage you to limit yourself for the new world.

The only reason I am allowing this at all is because the vote did favor (if barely) retaining some from the old world. I would rather be generous than be Stalin.
