There was a lot of talk, at school, about Trump winning the election. The reaction I had when first being told that Trump won the election was uncharacteristic. It wasn’t until I went to school that the emotions started to kick in. I am scared that Trump is going to bring America into a deep economic pit, that we can’t get out of. The national debt is already big, and spending 1.5 trillion dollars on the next generation F-35 fighter jet (as if our fighter jets didn’t need any more improvements) isn’t helping at all. I’ve heard no mention of further funding healthcare, education, nor any other fundamental requirement to have healthy, smart, and happy citizens, from Trump. All I can do is hope that he doesn’t waste 10 billion dollars in his first month in office, nor start more interventions in other locations across the globe.

Bit early for that, last time I checked he still has a little under 4 years to do that.
In all seriousness though, America now just needs to get on with it. However much you dislike him, he won fairly (we could argue about the fairness of the electoral college all day, but that’s the system America has for now), and now he needs to be given a chance to do something before anyone judges him further.
If I was American, I wouldn’t be worried about Trump himself (from his acceptance speech it seems like he might not follow through with a lot of what he said while campaigning), I would be worried about his supporters and all the alleged shit that’s been happening since he won. If Trump doesn’t reign it in, then something has to be done, but we’ll have to wait and see how bad it really is (most of the evidence I’ve seen of the bad stuff is just screenshots of facebook posts, so there’s no way of knowing how legitimate it really is) before anything can happen.
tl;dr, however good/bad you think Trump is, he won and we just have to wait and see what happens.
although yes, it is too early to tell whether or not he’ll ‘start WWIII’, he is already on the good side of two very powerful nations, Russia and Israel even before his inaguration (starting off on a good note, rather than digging out of a hole)
and I’d like to agree, that no matter what political party you come from, you should at least give him a chance. His most recent speech was VERY humbled, and he seemed like someone you’d want to sit in the Oval Office. He didnt gloat, didnt say anything outlandish, and he appeared like he actually could handle the job. Give him a chance to make America great again, even if you dont believe he can.
