The Endermen randomly pick up blocks and move them around and they are three meters tall! (The height of the player is about 1.89 meters)
Well at least they can’t get through open doors.
Apparently, players have been calling them “Farlanders” due to the fact that many players have “bad memories” of Marble Hornets and The Slenderman but notch says he does not intend to change the name

That video is like a Dr Who episode called ‘Blink’. If you haven’t seen it its basically saying that all angel statues are aliens who cannot move when they are seen but as soon as they are out of sight they can move faster than anything. Oh yeah, they also kill you. If you haven’t watched it I suggest you do, but not too late, it is fucking scary…

When the endermen’s eyes are green (hence my avatar pic) they are currently passive and will not harm the player. When their eyes are red they will be in a hostile state and chase the player(s) until it or the player has been killed. Considering they are three blocks high, able to “grief” player structures (not entirely comfirmed), can teleport to players, and seeming they will probably do a lot of damage, this may be a rock paper scissers handgun type thing.
