It’s still pretty good. It would be better if they lived closer to Indianapolis though.
Maybe test it from a different server? It may not have picked the closest one.
The only potential problem with speedtests is that ISPs give you more bandwidth to certain sites, although this is bow illegal in the US because of Net Neutrality Laws, the real test is when you are downloading a big file from a fast server (Google) and seeing how fast your actual download speed is. Also Steam may be a good test but not if the game was recently released, like when Portal 2 came out my average was 1.2mbs, and I usually have a fairly solid and consistent 10mb connection. So it would be the servers themselves having slower download speeds.
Wow long winded…Hope I didn’t screw any of this up, or have the sentences make absolutely no sense, wrote it up at about 10k feet on top of Haleakala, little less O2 to the brain (aka an excuse for being dumb)
fire knife… GIVE ME YOUR MY LITTLE PONY INTERNET CONNECTION!
Haha NEVER. This is actually the slowest internet plan Verizon Fios (Fiber Optics) offers. The fastest one is 150/35. O_O
Still mine is like 5mb download speed upload speed is 0.2 and ping is 150 :l
Anyone for tiscali or talk talk? :p, if you can live with their bad connections, download and upload speeds… as well as their bad customer support… and the fact that they have a record for their buildings catching fire then they are perfect(ly shit) =D
line isn’t bad apparently
